Ryan Shazier seems to be facing marital discord with his wife.
In 2019, the former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker experienced a magical moment as he danced with his wife at their wedding, defying doctors’ predictions that he had only a 20-percent chance of ever walking again after a severe spinal injury during a Monday Night Football game in December 2017.
However, the joyous times with his wife appear to be a thing of the past.
Michelle Shazier has publicly called out her estranged husband, revealing text messages between him and another woman and labeling him a “liar and a cheater.”

According to TMZ:
“Michelle Shazier — who has been with Ryan well before his career-ending spinal cord injury in 2017 — unleashed on her husband in a since-deleted Instagram post on Wednesday … saying, ‘A person that loves his family … this is what they do to their family … the WIFE.. that has been there for him since day 1!'”
One of the messages disclosed by Michelle shows Ryan sending links to books titled “The Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Women” and “Blow By Blow: A Step-by-Step Guide On How To Give Blow Jobs So Explosive That He Will Be Willing To Do Anything For You” to another woman.
The couple shares two children.
After spending two seasons on the Steelers’ physically unable-to-perform list, Shazier announced his retirement from football in 2020.
During his almost four seasons with the team, Shazier achieved recognition as a two-time Pro Bowl inside linebacker, concluding his career as a full-time starter in his final three seasons, accumulating seven interceptions, seven forced fumbles, seven sacks, and 299 tackles.
Ryan Shazier now faces the task of providing explanations for his actions.
