Garcia was reportedly involved in another bet as he was rumored to have placed a massive $2 million wager on himself ahead of the fight.
While a recent Instagram post seems to corroborate these rumors, the absence of a betting slip makes it challenging to confirm such claims.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. unsuccessfully tried a similar tactic back in 2017 in a fight against Conor McGregor.
