The recent NFL drama involving Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and ESPN analyst Ryan Clark has seemingly been resolved.
Clark took to social media on Friday night to announce that he had spoken with Tagovailoa, indicating that they have settled their differences.
“Didn’t seem to think so when we spoke today,” Clark replied when a fan called him a loser. “He’s an awesome young cat. Lots of respect for him.”

The controversy began when Clark criticized Tagovailoa’s work ethic during an episode of ESPN’s “NFL Live” this week.
“Let me tell you what he wasn’t doing,” Clark said of Tagovailoa. “He wasn’t in the gym, I’ll bet you that. He might have spent a lot of time in the tattoo parlor. He was not at the dinner table eating what the nutritionist had advised. He looks happy. He is thick. He’s built like the girls working at Onyx in Atlanta right now on the bottom.”
Clark made remarks about Tagovailoa’s lack of commitment to training, suggesting that he spent more time at the tattoo parlor and disregarded his nutritionist’s advice.
Clark also made a disparaging comment about Tagovailoa’s physical appearance.
In response, Tagovailoa told Clark to refrain from mentioning his name in a negative light. Clark, realizing his error, issued a public apology for his comments.
Although Tagovailoa accepted Clark’s apology, it is clear that he won’t easily forget what was said. It’s possible that Tagovailoa might use Clark’s comments as motivation for the upcoming season.
