More Zion Williamson rumors. This time it’s basketball-related though.
A surprising team has emerged in targeting New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson in a potential trade. According to Locked On NBA host Rafael Barlowe, the Houston Rockets are that team.

Here’s what the draft analyst had to say,
“In my conversations, the name Zion Williamson has come up as a potential trade target for Houston. The Rockets hold the No. 4 pick in the draft, are already one of the youngest teams in the league, and are potentially interested in moving the pick for a win-now player (or players).”
This makes some sense as Houston Rockets general manager Rafael Stone has expressed interest in adding veteran players in the off-season.
NBA insider Shams Charania previously indicated that the Pelicans may be interested in moving up to draft Scoot Henderson. This would likely mean parting ways with Zion.
Williamson has been the subject of plenty of drama in recent weeks. Just today, it has been rumored that three adult film stars have come forward with paternity claims against Zion Williamson.
The Pelicans are probably more concerned however with Zion’s inability to be on the court. Williamson played in only 29 games last year and has been hurt more often than not during his three-year NBA career.
Plenty of more trade rumors surrounding Zion are likely to hit the internet before the NBA Draft on June 22. We’ll see where this one goes.
