Is the Big Kat on his way to the Big Apple?
A major trade shook the basketball world yesterday, with Bradley Beal heading to the Phoenix Suns. Now according to rumors circulating, there’s another blockbuster trade in the works , NBA star Karl Anthony.
Towns is apparently being acquired by the New York Knicks. Apparently the source details two of Towns’ fiancee Jordyn Woods’ friends revealed that the couple are house-hunting in Manhattan, which sometimes can be a sign of an impending trade.
Woods’ pals reported that the move was sudden and urgent, with one speculating that it could be related to a trade.
The Knicks have long been rumored to be interested in Towns, and if the move does go ahead it will be the team’s biggest trade since they acquired Carmelo Anthony.
Towns’ arrival in New York could also boost his and Woods’ careers – the latter friend suggested that Woods could become the new “First Lady” of the city.
We’ll have to see if this rumor turns out to come true.
