Looks like the love affair between LeBron James and Anthony Davis is kaput.
According to reports, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is apparently no longer interested in being teammates with a certain player after a turbulent season.
The Lakers were eliminated from the 2023 NBA playoffs after being swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, coming close to missing the playoffs altogether.
Although Anthony Davis played a significant role in securing a playoff spot for the Lakers while LeBron was out injured, rumors suggest that James is ready to move on from him.
Apparently, there is a power struggle going on between James and Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka over Davis’ future with the team, and James is over him.
“There is a power struggle going on between LeBron and GM Rob Pelinka,” he said on the latest episode of The Zach Gelb Show. “I think LeBron is over AD, and there’s a non-zero chance he could get dealt this offseason.”
.@sportsreiter has heard LeBron James is frustrated and is over Anthony Davis.

It’s not surprising if Davis gets dealt this offseason since his availability has been a major issue for the Lakers since his arrival.
Additionally, there seems to be a rift between the two players, such as when Davis stayed seated while everybody was on their feet cheering for James after he became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
