Niya Morant, Ja Morant’s younger sister, made a commitment to play college basketball at Mississippi State Valley State (the alma mater of Jerry Rice) last month.
However, fans will have to wait until November, when the Devilettes play their first regular season game, to see another Morant in a significant basketball matchup.
Meanwhile, a rumor has been circulating among fans that Niya is dating FTO Sett, which gained momentum after a video surfaced of them rapping along to lyrics from his popular song “Piss Sett Off.”

Some internet chatter points to Ja’s recent love for flashing guns with his new found affiliation with FTO Sett.
FTO Sett is a Memphis-based rapper who signed with 1017 after Gucci Mane posted his bond in 2022.
Ja definitely needs to stay out of any circles that promotes or endorses gun violence.
