Ja Morant is still trying to make it make sense.
Over the past month, Ja Morant has been in the headlines due to his second Instagram Live gun scandal. Although the NBA has completed its investigation and made its decision, Adam Silver has declined to disclose their findings until after the Finals when the season is officially over.
As the world awaits the NBA’s response to the incident, a new rumor has surfaced claiming that the firearm Morant displayed in his IG Live broadcast was a fake. The Breakfast Club host Claudia Jordan made this claim, stating that her sources revealed Morant’s camp was allegedly claiming the gun was a “toy gun” and even sent it to Silver and the league office to support this claim, although to no avail.

Jordan went on to state that the league is planning to give the Grizzlies rookie a 30-game suspension. However, the other hosts of The Breakfast Club were skeptical of these allegations.
Morant’s camp has not yet commented on these latest rumors, and it is unlikely that the truth will be revealed until the NBA makes an official announcement. Nonetheless, it is apparent that Morant will face a suspension.
