Occasionally, the internet resurfaces old videos.
On Wednesday, a video depicting a scuffle among Kentucky Wildcats football players garnered widespread attention after going viral on social media.
Although the video is dated, it surfaced for the first time on social platforms recently. The footage captures a confrontation between two Kentucky players unfolding within the team’s locker room. In the video, the players exchange seemingly ineffectual, slap-like punches until Jeremy Flax, identifiable by his blue skull-cap, intervenes.
Flax seizes his opponent, hoists him into the air, and executes a suplex maneuver, causing his teammate to collide with the floor, impacting their face.
Following Flax’s takedown, additional Kentucky players intervened to halt the altercation, intervening and attempting to cease further escalation.

The exact timing of the incident remains unclear, but it is evidently dated, as Flax is no longer associated with the team, having shifted his focus to preparation for the NFL Draft.
While the act of one player suplexing another in the locker room is certainly not condoned, it’s acknowledged that physical altercations among football players behind closed doors are not entirely uncommon. However, the dissemination of such footage to the public domain presents a distinct issue.
