As the 2024 Presidential Election approaches, its significance continues to grow, especially with Election Day set for Tuesday, November 5, amidst the NFL season.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the league is preparing several initiatives as the election nears.
Per Anna Isaacson, the NFL’s Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility, the league will reintroduce mandatory voter education for all staff and will prominently feature non-partisan “VOTE” branding within stadiums. This was reported by Pelissero on X/Twitter.

This year’s presidential race is anticipated to be a repeat of the previous election, with President Joe Biden vying for a second term against his Republican opponent, Donald Trump. Biden, who previously defeated Trump in the 2020 election after Trump’s single term, which followed his victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016, is gearing up for another electoral battle.
The candidates are scheduled to debate twice in the upcoming months, the first on June 27 and the second on September 10. CNN will broadcast the first debate, moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, across CNN, CNN.com, and CNN Max.
The second debate will be aired by ABC, though the moderator has yet to be announced.
The scheduling of these debates is notably earlier than usual. Jen O’Malley Dillon, chair of the Biden campaign, commented last week that the traditional debate timeline is misaligned with modern changes in election structures and voter engagement.
