Taylor Swift is not about that. Despite Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ nearly flawless performance against the Bears last Sunday, all eyes were on pop star Taylor Swift.
Swift’s presence at Arrowhead Stadium appeared to confirm the swirling rumors of her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Notably, she shared a suite with his mother, Donna.
When FOX learned that Swift was set to attend the Week 3 Bears-Chiefs game, the production team approached her, seeking permission to feature her music during the broadcast.

Regrettably, Swift’s record label and publishing company swiftly rejected FOX’s request, despite her 12-time Grammy Award-winning status.
“Earlier in the week, amid the avalanche of rumors, our bulldog associate producer Rich Gross had sought permission to use some of Swift’s music,” Zyons wrote. “Not a chance. Per the FOX music department, Swift’s record label and publishing company denied our request ‘in conjunction with speculations on or about her private/personal/dating life.'”
Front Office Sports has reported that Taylor Swift will grace MetLife Stadium this upcoming Sunday to witness the Chiefs taking on the Jets.
In his report on Wednesday night, Michael McCarthy stated, “Music sensation Taylor Swift intends to be present for the Sunday Night clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets.”
It’s reasonable to assume that NBC’s camera crew will focus their lenses on Swift, particularly if the game takes an unexpected turn.
