Shannon Sharpe’s run with Skip Bayless on FS1’s ‘Undisputed” is soon coming to an end.
According to the NY Post, Sharpe and Fox Sports have reached a buyout agreement.
Sharpe’s final show is expected to be some time after the NBA Finals are over in June.
Sharpe’s very popular “Club Shay Shay” podcast will also be leaving Fox Sports.
The most recent tension between Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless was when Bayless sent out a tweet in the aftermath of Damar Hamlin’s on-field collapse. In the tweet, Bayless questioned how the NFL could postpone the Bills-Bengals game.
Sharpe did not show up to ‘Undisputed’ the following morning, and stated that he wished Bayless would take the tweet down when he returned the next day.
There’s also the possibility that Sharpe’s relationship with LeBron James has played a role in this separation. Sharpe is a close friend of LeBron’s while Skip has notoriously been a very harsh critic of the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
There’s no word on where Sharpe will end up next, but he certainly brings a following with him.
