Kyrie Irving is at it again.
Don’t do a double take because this one is real. Shams sent out a tweet this morning that sent Twitter ablaze. Sources are telling him that Kyrie Irving has reached out to LeBron James about getting him to come to Dallas.
Sources: Kyrie Irving has reached out to Lakers star LeBron James in attempts to see if James would come to Dallas. Irving is a free agent this offseason.

Chris Haynes also reported the same thing.

Haynes added that, “the Mavs were preparing to make an offer for LeBron James last season when Lakers were spiraling. But Lakers made a string of trades near deadline that changed trajectory of their season.”
Twitter promptly reacted with disbelief.

Of course, Kyrie and LeBron previously played together with the Cleveland Cavaliers. They helped bring Cleveland their first NBA championship when they came back from a 3-1 deficit to the Golden State Warriors in 2016.
LeBron’s future remains uncertain on whether he will even play basketball next season despite being under contract with the Lakers.
Kyrie is a free agent, and the most likely scenario regarding a LeBron and Kyrie reunion was if Kyrie ended up in L.A.
Kyrie Irving is always up to something. We’ll see where this one goes.
