The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 110-106 to advance to the NBA playoffs where they will take on the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets.
However, they may not have won if they had listened to Reggie Miller.
With the Lakers leading by two with 2.7 seconds left in the game, Anthony Davis was heading to the free throw line for the Lakers.
That’s when Reggie Miller struck.
The NBA Hall of Famer turned commentator contemplated if the Lakers should miss their second free throw intentionally if the first one is made.

Davis did not take Reggie’s advice and wisely made both free throws to seal the game.
Of course, social media let Reggie have it.
The Lakers will now head to Denver to take on the Nuggets while the Pelicans will play the Sacramento Kings for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference after the Kings defeated the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night.
