Experiencing nausea can be an indication that it’s time for some rest.
During the college football season, Pat McAfee is undeniably one of the hardest-working individuals in the realm of sports. He tirelessly hosts his show from Monday through Friday, embarks on journeys to the College GameDay location towards the end of the week, and actively participates in the show on Saturday mornings.
However, it appears that the constant travel has taken its toll on him, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter mentioned that McAfee admitted to vomiting between segments on GameDay Saturday morning, attributing his discomfort to a case of “food poisoning.”
McAfee and the rest of the GameDay crew are currently in Durham, North Carolina. This marks College GameDay’s inaugural visit to Duke University’s campus, a visit motivated by a compelling reason.
An undefeated Duke team is set to face Notre Dame on Saturday night, marking one of the most significant games in the program’s history. Duke has the opportunity to defeat both Clemson and Notre Dame in a single season, two victories that could position them favorably to contend for the ACC championship at the end of the year.
Regarding McAfee, it appears that he intends to soldier on and complete the remainder of College GameDay on Saturday morning in Durham.
