Rashee Rice has made a startling admission as details continue to emerge regarding the multi-vehicle accident he was involved in on Saturday evening in Dallas, Texas.
According to Michael J. Babcock of TMZ Sports, Rice sent a text message to a luxury car rental company called The Classic Lifestyle which admitted his involvement in Saturday evening’s multi-vehicle accident in Dallas which he was alleged to have been involved in.

“Chiefs WR Rashee Rice, in a text to the luxury rental company, admitted he was involved in Saturday’s 4 vehicle accident on a Dallas highway. Rice didn’t specify whether he was driving, although terms of his rental agreement dictate he be the sole driver of the ’21 Lambo Urus, which cost nearly $1,800 per day to rent. Rice vowed to make the company whole w/ respect to damages (car’s in bad shape). Rice left the scene of the crash on foot w/ several other men. Police are currently investigating, while the #NFL is “monitoring” the situation.”
Following the emergence of dashcam footage and pictures from the crash site, Rice “retained legal counsel” and his lawyer, Royce West, issued a statement on behalf of Rice on Monday afternoon.
Initially following the crash on Saturday evening, Rice was allegedly being sought by police, but he is now cooperating with local authorities.
“On behalf of Rashee Rice, his thoughts are with everyone impacted by the automobile accident on Saturday.
Rashee is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly. Any and all requests for comment can be directed to his attorney Mr. Royce West of West & Associates, LLP.”
Rice owned the Corvette that was involved in the crash, while he leased the Lamborghini from a company called The Classic Lifestyle.
At the time of the crash, Rice was driving the Lamborghini, and according to the leasing agreement, he was the only authorized driver of the vehicle.
This information comes from Kyle Coker, the attorney representing Classic Lifestyle.
Coker indicated that Rice texted The Classic Lifestyle indicating that he was involved in the crash and promised to pay off the totaled Lambo.
Rice’s friend was said to be the driver of the Corvette which was also involved in the accident.
Rice and his friend driving the Corvette are believed to have to been racing which led to the accident.
Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured in the crash.
