A popular WFAN radio show experienced a humorous mix-up during Super Bowl week in Las Vegas. The hosts of “Boomer and Gio,” Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti, were expecting All-Pro wide receiver Randy Moss as a guest. However, they soon realized they had booked the wrong Randy Moss – the one who serves as a horse racing analyst for NBC Sports.
The confusion came to light when Giannotti inquired about Moss’s intended promotion for the show, to which producer Al Dukes mentioned it had “something to do with horse racing.” It was then that they realized their mistake.
Upon realizing the error, Esiason jokingly berated Dukes for booking the wrong guest, exclaiming, “You booked the wrong one, you idiot!” They all found humor in the mishap, with Esiason admitting he never expected the NFL legend Randy Moss to be their guest.

While it was a humorous mishap, Moss the NFL legend seemed to enjoy the mix-up. He shared a clip of the show on social media with his signature catchphrase, “Some1 GOT MOSSED,” along with laughing emojis.
Despite the mix-up, there’s still a chance the “right” Moss might make an appearance, adding to the lightheartedness of the situation.
