The Las Vegas Raiders recently had some fun at Patrick Mahomes’ expense during their training camp at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa, California. The incident has stirred quite a bit of buzz on social media.
On Thursday, a video surfaced showing a Raiders player mocking Mahomes using a puppet. The clip quickly went viral, featuring Raiders rookie safety Trey Taylor manipulating a Kermit the Frog hand puppet.
The puppet was humorously dressed in a Mahomes jersey and sported the distinctive curly hair associated with the Chiefs’ star quarterback.
In the video, Taylor can be seen moving the puppet’s mouth while saying, “I’m a b—h,” an attempt to poke fun at Mahomes. The scene drew cheers and laughter from the background, though it is important to note that the video contains profanity.

Mahomes has previously been teased for his high-pitched voice, which some people liken to that of Kermit the Frog. This playful jab added to the ongoing joke about his voice.
Despite the Raiders organization facing criticism online for the video, reports suggest that it was actually a fan who initiated the prank.
The fan brought the puppet to the training camp and requested Taylor to use it, later uploading the video to X (formerly known as Twitter) before eventually deleting the post.
Looking ahead, the Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to play against the Raiders on October 27.
Given the light-hearted mockery, fans are eagerly anticipating Mahomes’ response on the field during that Week 8 matchup. Many expect him to come out with a stellar performance, potentially using this incident as extra motivation.
