Garoppolo, who underwent foot surgery this offseason, is expected to be ready long before the start of training camp, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday on Inside Minicamps on NFL+.
Garoppolo signed a $72.5 million three-year contract with the Raiders during the off-season. With Derek Carr now part of the New Orleans Saints, Garoppolo is poised to be the starting quarterback for the Raiders this year.
In his time with the 49ers, he helped lead the team to three NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl appearance. Garoppolo boasts an impressive 67.6% completion rate in his 57 starts. In his career, he has 14,289 passing yards, 87 touchdowns, and 42 interceptions.
