Veteran safety Jordan Poyer, well-versed in the rivalry between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, now finds himself on the opposite side after the Bills released him this offseason, leading him to join the Miami Dolphins and ensuring matchups against his former team twice a year.
Poyer’s recent signing with the Miami Dolphins has already ignited some fiery commentary from his outspoken wife, Rachel Bush, a model and influencer. She took to social media platform X with a pointed remark, signaling a shift in allegiance.
Initially, Bush penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband’s tenure with the Buffalo Bills weeks ago. However, now that Poyer has moved on, she’s ready for a bit of retaliation. Bush emphasized that the Bills’ faithful know Poyer’s prowess on the field, but she singled out a faction she dubbed the “unwilling exes” who are struggling to accept the breakup.
Poyer’s official move to the Dolphins was confirmed Monday, marking his fourth NFL team following stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and Bills over the past seven seasons.
During his time with the Bills, Poyer enjoyed notable success, earning All-Pro honors in 2021 and Pro Bowl recognition in 2022.
