The Dallas police department has announced they have issued an arrest warrant for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice.
The arrest stems from the multi-vehicle crash Rice was involved in Dallas on March 30.
Rice earlier admitted to driving the Lamborghini involved in the crash.
The Dallas Police Dept. said in a statement Wednesday Rice is facing one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision involving injury.
The man driving the Corvette involved in the accident, Theodore Knox, is facing the same charges.
There’s is currently no word on what discipline Rice will face from the Chiefs or the NFL.
Rice was a rookie out of SMU for the Kansas City Chiefs last season as he helped them to a second consecutive Super Bowl championship.
For the 2023 regular season, Rice had 938 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns on 79 catches over 16 games.
