Do Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have enough in common on an intellectual level?
Claudia Oshry sees Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as a perfect match, despite believing that Swift is intellectually out of Kelce’s league. “She’s so out of his league, especially in an intellectual sense,” the creator of “Girl With No Job” shared with Page Six in their new video studio during the sixth anniversary of her and her sister Jackie Oshry’s podcast, “The Toast.”
Claudia described Swift as a “poet” and “the mind of a generation,” in contrast to Kelce whom she characterized as “silly and goofy.” “It’s kind of an unlikely pairing,” she remarked. “It just makes sense. We’re obsessed.”
Jackie echoed her sister’s sentiments, suggesting the couple’s charm lies in their contrasting personalities and achievements. “I think they’re in separate leagues, which is what makes it so great,” she explained. “Fans of his might think he’s greater, and her fans see her as unmatched.”
The sisters admire both Swift, a 14-time Grammy winner, and Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, for excelling in their fields. “They can relate on being the greatest,” Jackie noted.
While Swift has often been linked with intellectual artists, Kelce brings a refreshing simplicity to her life. “He’s just, like, an American meathead,” Claudia joked, highlighting that Swift lacked this “lightness” in past relationships.

Jackie believes Swift is at a stage where she can afford to relax more. “She’s at a point in her life where she should just be able to have fun and enjoy the fruits of her labor,” she said.
Laughing, Claudia added, “He’s not thinking,” referring to Kelce’s easy-going nature.
On the topic of which Kelce brother they’d prefer to date, Claudia chose Travis for his looks and fame, while Jackie preferred Jason for his humor and conversational style.
Regardless of Swift and Travis’s future, the sisters pledged their continued support for football, having grown to love the sport.
Swift and Travis confirmed their relationship in September 2023 after beginning to date the previous summer.
