Photos from the tragic car crash that claimed the lives of three people, including Minnesota Vikings draft pick Khyree Jackson, were published on Saturday, shedding light on the severity of the incident.
Khyree Jackson, a fourth-round pick by the Vikings in April’s draft, was traveling in a Dodge Charger early Saturday morning in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with friends Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton. According to the police report, Hazel was behind the wheel, Jackson was in the front passenger seat, and Lytton was in the back seat. Their vehicle was violently struck by another car that was speeding and attempting to change lanes. The impact caused the Charger to veer off the road and crash into several tree stumps before coming to a stop.
Hazel and Jackson were pronounced dead at the scene, while Lytton was rushed to a nearby medical center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Later on Saturday, TMZ Sports released a harrowing photo from the crash site. The image depicted the Dodge Charger, completely mangled and unrecognizable, highlighting the catastrophic nature of the collision. The car was smashed to shreds, a stark reminder of the violent impact.

The bond between Jackson, Hazel, and Lytton extended beyond their shared journey that fateful night. Hazel was a football player at the University of Maryland, while Jackson had played for both Alabama and Oregon during his college career before being drafted by the Vikings.
The loss of these young athletes has sent shockwaves through their communities and the world of football.
