Caitlin Clark and several of her teammates took advantage of the WNBA break by heading to Mexico for a well-deserved vacation.
The 2024 WNBA regular season is currently on pause to accommodate the 2024 Summer Olympics. While many of the league’s top players are heading to Paris, France, to compete for Team USA, Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft, was controversially left off the roster.
Despite this snub, Clark doesn’t seem to be bothered. She and her teammate, Lexie Hull, are making the most of their time off by soaking up the sun in Mexico.
Photos of the duo enjoying the beach in their bikinis have surfaced, much to the delight of their fans. “The Mexico update we’ve been waiting for!!! Courtesy of Mama Lou,” one fan wrote.

Clark expressed her excitement for the vacation, a much-needed break after an incredibly busy 12 months.
Her packed schedule over the past year included dominating the college basketball scene, being the top pick in the WNBA Draft, and making a significant impact in her rookie season. The vacation serves as a chance for her to relax and recharge.
The WNBA’s break will last a couple of weeks while the Summer Olympics take place in Paris. The Opening Ceremony is set for Friday evening, with NBC and Peacock providing full coverage of the Summer Games.
As Clark enjoys her time in Mexico, she can reflect on her impressive achievements and prepare for the second half of the WNBA season.
Despite not being part of Team USA’s Olympic roster, her future in the league looks bright, and her fans eagerly await her return to the court.
