During their first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, the Phoenix Suns found themselves trailing 3-0 after a resounding 126-109 defeat, leading to vocal disapproval from their home crowd.
As boos filled the arena, Suns superstar forward Kevin Durant acknowledged the fans’ expectations, stating, “They expect so much out of us and they pay their hard-earned money, and they deserve to react how they want to react. It’s on us as players to use it as fuel, and hopefully, it ignites us for the next game.”
Amid the frustration, a video surfaced showing a visibly upset Suns fan, highlighting the high emotions surrounding the game.

With the Suns now facing potential elimination, they struggled to gain ground in Game 3, particularly during a pivotal third quarter where they were outscored 36-20 by the Timberwolves.
As the Suns hope to stave off elimination and extend the series, fans are urged to maintain their support. Securing the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference, the Suns’ 49-33 record came as a mild surprise given their star-studded roster’s potential to dominate the West.
Despite all three of Phoenix’s “Big 3” scoring at least 23 points in Game 3, support was lacking elsewhere, with two other starters contributing a mere three points combined, and only Eric Gordon adding a significant 11 points off the bench.
