When playfully asked if he had a plan for the Grammy-winning pop star’s attendance, O’Brien responded, “I don’t even know how to answer that … I’m very uncomfortable right now.”
Fans took to social media to react to O’Brien’s response, with one user, Mike Giardi, tweeting about his failed attempt to convince O’Brien to swap his Tufts hat for a Trinity one, emphasizing their dominance in the NESCAC.
A disgruntled fan expressed dissatisfaction with journalists asking Swift-related questions, deeming it somewhat sad.

In a more sarcastic tone, another fan mocked the team’s performance, saying, “Ahahahahaha we suck so bad!!!! Ahahahahaha so much fun to be the worst team in the league!!!! Ahahahahaha.”
