In Week 15, Kadarius Toney found himself in the spotlight once again, and not in a positive way, following his late-game offsides penalty in Week 14 that drew considerable attention. This time, the Chiefs wide receiver added to his challenges with another ill-timed play that left quarterback Patrick Mahomes visibly frustrated.
With 9:20 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Chiefs holding a 27–10 lead, Mahomes aimed for Toney on a short pass across the middle. However, Toney juggled the ball, leading to an interception by Patriots linebacker Jahlani Tavai.
Mahomes, a two-time Super Bowl champion, retreated to the sideline after the interception, expressing his frustration with some choice language.

The situation worsened when a struggling New England (3–10) capitalized with a touchdown two plays later, narrowing the deficit to 27–17.
Despite Toney’s fourth-quarter mishap, Kansas City (8–5) ultimately secured the victory. The Chiefs are set to return to action on Christmas against the Raiders (6–8) in a crucial AFC West showdown.
