Patrick Mahomes couldn’t help but express his amazement at the Cleveland Cavaliers’ incredible game-winning shot on Tuesday night.
In a thrilling 121-119 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, Cavs guard Max Strus delivered a stunning buzzer-beater from nearly 60 feet away, marking his fifth three-pointer in the final four minutes of the game. Reacting to the highlight of Strus’ remarkable shot, Mahomes took to Twitter, writing, “Ain’t no way @tkelce,” while tagging Travis Kelce, a Cleveland native and Cavs fan.
Kelce responded enthusiastically, tweeting, “Straight cash!!! Them boys got the juice right now!! @cavs.”

Strus’ dramatic basket came after the Mavericks took a one-point lead on a dunk by P.J. Washington with just 2.9 seconds remaining, igniting a wild celebration at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
In a lighthearted postgame interview, Strus quipped, “I don’t know. Donovan [Mitchell] was out of the game, so somebody else had to step up. I got lucky.”
Despite the magnitude of the moment, Strus revealed that he had actually made a longer game-winner during his college days playing at the Division II level.
The victory marked Cleveland’s 20th win in their last 24 games, propelling them to a 38-19 overall record for the season. Currently, they hold the second spot in the Eastern Conference standings, one game ahead of the third-placed Milwaukee Bucks, and trail the top-seeded Boston Celtics by 7.5 games.
