Trouble for the Mahomes family before Super Bowl 58.
This has nothing to do with star Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes or his troubled brother Jackson, but the elder Mahomes instead.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. — a former MLB pitcher and father of Patrick Mahomes — was arrested for DWI in Texas Saturday night, according to TMZ Sports.
TMZ indicates that it’s “the third time or more” that Pat Mahomes Sr. has been arrested for DWI.

It’s unlikely this will affect the younger Mahomes performance on the field for Super Bowl 58 as he has dealt with plenty of distraction surrounding his family before, but it’s a distraction nonetheless.
Pat Mahomes Sr. pitched in the big leagues from 1992-2003 for the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
