Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his new teammate, wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, seem to be on the same page.
Video was shared on Instagram of Mahomes throwing a dart to Brown which will get Chiefs fans plenty excited.
Mahomes has to be excited about the addition of Brown who has been an explosive playmaker since he was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft.
Despite winning the Super Bowl last season, the Chiefs notoriously featured one of the weakest receiving cores in the NFL as they led the league in dropped passes with 44.
Brown’s best season came in 2021 when he had just over 1,000 receiving yards and had six receiving touchdowns on 91 receptions for the Ravens.
Brown had a down year in his second season with the Arizona Cardinals in 2023 as his time there was largely plagued by poor quarterback play.
As for Mahomes, his passing numbers were down quite a bit compared to his usual standards although he likely won’t complain as the Chiefs managed to win their second consecutive Super Bowl.
In the 2023 regular season, Mahomes finished with 4,183 passing yards and 27 passing touchdowns over 16 games.
