Finally, Patrick Mahomes is addressing the elephant in the room.
After remaining silent on the matter since reports of his brother’s arrest and charges emerged, Patrick Mahomes has finally addressed the controversy surrounding Jackson Mahomes. Jackson, who stands accused of three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery, has been in the news following allegations that he forced himself on a female restaurant owner in February.
When reporters questioned him about the matter at the Chiefs’ OTAs on Wednesday, Patrick responded by saying, “Honestly, it’s kind of a personal thing that I just kind of gotta keep to myself. I mean, at the end of the day, I come here to play football and try to take care of my family at the same time. So just kind of keep it to myself and just go out there and play football when I’m in the building.”

Surveillance footage reportedly shows Jackson grabbing and kissing the female in a back office, in addition to the separate incident where he is accused of shoving a member of staff. Jackson is currently due to attend a preliminary hearing on August 31.
Sucks that Patrick has such a huge distraction in his life. And throw in his wife and that’s a whole lot of unnecessary drama.
