In response to online mockery over his appearance in a viral video during the Chiefs’ AFC Championship celebrations, Patrick Mahomes humorously addressed NFL fans who teased him about his ‘dad bod.’ The video, featured on social media and Inside the NFL, showed a shirtless Mahomes in the locker room after Kansas City’s win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Mahomes tweeted, ‘Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? #DadBodSNZ,’ and added, ‘Like I got kids!!!!’ In the video, the six-time Pro Bowler expressed, ‘we ain’t done yet,’ as the Chiefs secured a spot in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
However, fans focused more on Mahomes’ relatable physique than the content of the clip.

Some fans made light-hearted comments, such as, ‘I feel like someone photoshopped his head on my body,’ and ‘I never thought seeing Mahomes shirtless would make me feel better about how I look shirtless.’ Others pointed out similarities with fellow Chiefs player Jason Kelce’s ‘dad bod.’ Not all fans were impressed, urging Mahomes to take his fitness seriously for a long, successful career.
Mahomes, in his seventh NFL season, is officially listed at 6ft 2in and 225 pounds by the Chiefs. His wife, Brittany, once revealed his love for eating Doritos in bed at night, joking about his snack preferences.
The playful online banter ensued over Mahomes’ physique, emphasizing the diverse reactions from fans.
