Randi Mahomes, mother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is gearing up to support her son as he takes the field in yet another Super Bowl, this time against the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.
In a recent interview at the NFL Honors ceremony, Randi shared her thoughts on Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes, Patrick’s wife.
“It’s hard to find people who are genuine and real, but they’ve really connected,” Randi told Page Six. “They talk all the time and are really good friends.”
Randi expressed her delight in seeing Swift at games, noting how the singer’s presence attracts young girls who are becoming interested in football because of her.

“I love it because it brings families together,” Randi said. “Sundays used to be dad’s day for football, but now they’re bringing their kids, especially their daughters, to games.”
Swift, who has been a regular at Chiefs’ games since September, has been spotted alongside Travis Kelce, the team’s tight end, with whom she went public with her relationship. Both Swift and Brittany have frequently attended games and been seen together in public.
Randi, who has become more recognizable due to her son’s success, admitted to feeling the added attention, particularly after her encounters with Swift. She joked about her newfound visibility during games, saying she’s often seen on TV trying to keep up with her grandkids or managing her nerves while watching the game.
Swift made her 12th NFL appearance at the AFC Championship game between the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens to support Kelce, with the Chiefs boasting an impressive 9-3 record with Swift in attendance.
