After the game, Mahomes addressed the team in the locker room, emphasizing that the journey is not yet complete. He reminded his teammates that they asked for this challenge and urged them to come back ready for the upcoming AFC Championship Game against the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens.
“They asked for it, and they got what they asked for,” Mahomes said, before reminding his teammates that “this (expletive) ain’t done.”
“We come back next week ready to (expletive) go.”
