Three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes recently made headlines not just for his achievements on the football field but for a surprising appearance at this week’s WWE Raw.
The 28-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, who clinched the Super Bowl MVP title in 2024, delighted fans by lending his Super Bowl rings to Logan Paul to use as makeshift brass knuckles during Paul’s match against Jey Uso.
Sitting front row, Mahomes was approached by Paul for the unusual request. Although the intended punch missed Uso and accidentally hit JD McDonagh instead, the gesture sent the crowd into an uproar.
Off the field, Mahomes has been making the most of his offseason. Prior to his WWE appearance, he hosted the 15 and Mahomies Foundation Golf Classic gala in Las Vegas on April 27, an event attended by friends including Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
In a tribute to Mahomes’ tenure with the team, the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated his seventh anniversary with the franchise earlier this month. They released a video featuring highlights from his college days at Texas Tech to his recent Super Bowl victory. The video captured moments from his initial NFL draft to the latest championship celebrations, complete with confetti and family moments.
The caption accompanying the video on Instagram read, “Seven years ago today, Patrick Mahomes became a Chief. The rest is history.”
In other entertainment news, Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul, is preparing for a major bout of his own. He is set to face boxing legend Mike Tyson in a much-anticipated match. The fight, announced by Netflix, is scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Jake Paul expressed his excitement about the upcoming match with the 57-year-old Tyson, who is considered one of the boxing greats.
