Even during the off-season, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes can’t seem to stay away from the excitement of stadiums.
On Saturday, June 8, the couple, both 28, enjoyed a date night at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, where they cheered on the local men’s professional soccer team, Sporting Kansas City. Sporting their unity and style, Patrick and Brittany donned matching blue jerseys and watched as their team clinched a 2-1 victory over Seattle Sounders FC.
Before the game, Brittany took to Instagram Stories to share selfies with Patrick, who accessorized his jersey look with sunglasses, a baseball cap, and a stack of chains.
She also posted a video from the match, capturing a sweet moment as she made a kissy face and Patrick smiled softly for the camera.

The excitement didn’t end with the soccer game. After Sporting Kansas City’s win, Brittany headed over to the T-Mobile Center to catch Tim McGraw’s concert as part of his Standing Room Only Tour.
She didn’t specify if Patrick joined her for the concert, but she shared several posts from the event, including a moment during the song “Live Like You Were Dying.”
Brittany also highlighted a performance of “Highway Don’t Care,” a 2013 hit by McGraw featuring Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, showcasing Swift on the big screen—a fitting tribute in Kansas City, where Swift often visited last NFL season to support Patrick and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run.
This outing was not just a typical date night; it also served as a rare day out for the high school sweethearts who are parents to 18-month-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III and 3-year-old Sterling Skye. Patrick and Brittany are well-known figures in the Kansas City sports community, not just for football but also as co-owners of the Kansas City Current soccer team.
