Brittany and Patrick Mahomes decided to kick off their daughter’s birthday celebration a little early this year!
Over the weekend, the couple took to their Instagram accounts to share a heartwarming video featuring highlights from Sterling Skye’s pre-birthday bash. The adorable footage showcased Sterling joyfully playing on a slide, riding a carousel, and sharing sweet moments with her friends and family.
The party, held at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, had a delightful tea party theme, complete with butterfly guests and tea cup-shaped cookies adorned with Sterling’s name.
“We celebrated our Sterling Skye today!? I can’t even believe we will have a 3 year old in just a few days!” wrote Brittany alongside the video set to Cyndi Lauper’s hit “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” “Time flies when you’re having fun! We love you baby girl,” she added.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE last month, Brittany revealed that Sterling is starting to grasp her father’s role as a football star. “My daughter, she can finally kind of realize what’s going on and where she’s at, and she loves to watch her dad play football,” Brittany shared. “She truly enjoys going down to the field and getting to see him before the game. I think it’s a very special moment wherever I get to bring them to the game and they get to watch their dad play football,” she added.
Patrick and Brittany are also proud parents to son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, who celebrated his first birthday in November 2023.
