Did Aaron Rodgers really turn down a trade to the Patriots?
Reports last week claimed that Aaron Rodgers turned down a trade to the New England Patriots before being traded to the New York Jets in a pre-draft move.
However, according to Pat McAfee, who is a close friend of Rodgers and a well-known sports personality, this rumor is false.
McAfee cited an inside source on his show, stating that Rodgers has great admiration for Bill Belichick, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Patriots.
Watch Pat refute the rumor in his very special way:

On the other hand, the Patriots are known for their strict and disciplined approach, which may not be suitable for every player.
Even Tom Brady left the team after spending 20 years with them. Despite the Jets having a lesser chance of winning a Super Bowl, Rodgers is keen on moving there, particularly because of his reunion with his old friend and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
The Jets have also acquired several ex-Packers, including Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Adrian Amos.
