Former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones found himself in an airport arrest on Monday morning.
Jones was departing from the Cincinnati area, en route to New York to attend the Bills-Jets game on Monday night. However, before the flight could take off, he was asked to change seats due to a malfunctioning outlet.
This request led to a confrontation between Jones and the flight attendants, resulting in them informing him that his behavior would necessitate returning to the gate.
The situation escalated when Jones directed offensive language towards some passengers, referring to them as “crackers,” before ultimately leaving the plane.
TMZ obtained footage of the airport incident from Monday.
Jones provided his perspective on the situation when speaking to TMZ, asserting that he did not make any threats, was not intoxicated, and, as the video clearly showed, believed that he was the one who was mistreated.
Jones, who earned Pro Bowl honors in 2015, faced misdemeanor charges of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threatening, and was booked at Boone County Jail.
