Pacman Jones may have long departed from the NFL, but his run-ins with the law continue, reminiscent of his days as a full-time player in the league.
According to NBC WLWT, the former Bengals star found himself in handcuffs early Monday morning at CVG Airport after police were summoned to address an incident involving an “unruly passenger.”
Jones stated that he had reserved two seats for himself and engaged in a conversation with a flight attendant regarding a malfunctioning charger. He claimed to have requested a seat change, and it was during this exchange that things allegedly took a contentious turn.
He vehemently denied being under the influence of alcohol.
Mindy Kershner, the airport’s spokesperson, provided details, stating, “Airport police were called at 0600 to assist flight crew on an outbound flight about an unruly passenger. Passenger was arrested prior to takeoff and taken to Boone County Detention Center.”
Over the past decade, Jones has faced numerous charges in the Cincinnati area. In 2021, he entered a no-contest plea to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from an incident in which he assaulted a security guard.

In 2019, he pleaded guilty to charges related to an incident at Rising Star Casino in Indiana. Furthermore, in 2017, he was fined by the court for obstructing public business after being arrested in a downtown hotel.
“Pacman” was originally drafted sixth overall in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. His NFL career was marked by suspensions due to violations of the league’s Player Conduct Policy, largely because of his off-field troubles.
Over the course of his career, Jones accumulated more than 500 total tackles (with 421 being solo), along with 17 interceptions and two touchdowns in 146 games.
