The incident, captured on video, went viral on social media and showed Love caught off guard by the audacious request. On Thursday, a video posted by social media influencer TravQue gained traction online, showing the influencer at what appeared to be the bar of an outdoor nightclub.
In the video, TravQue racked up a sizable drink order, all while trying to get the bill added to Jordan Love’s tab. The video surfaced just before the Packers’ narrow 34-31 loss to the Detroit Lions.
The video begins with TravQue standing at the bar and yelling out his order for everyone to hear. “Ayo bartender, look. Let me get five bottles of tequila, right? Five bottles of champagne. And three bottles of vodka,” TravQue called out with enthusiasm.
Then, he pointed towards Jordan Love, who was standing to his left, and said, “And put it on his tab. You know who this is? This is Jordan Love from the Green Bay Packers, and he’s holding us down.”
Jordan Love, who had been quietly enjoying his time, burst into laughter as TravQue tried to pin the bill on him. Love immediately signaled to the bartender, shaking his head and making it clear not to follow through with TravQue’s outrageous request.
