Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac took to X to offer an apology to President of the United States Joe Biden.
Isaac initially took to X to criticize Joe Biden for declaring March 31, which is Easter Sunday this year, a Transgender Day of Visibility.
“They want you to hate! This helps no one and only promotes division. They know exactly what they are doing.. we should be angry but shouldn’t lose the spirit of what tomorrow means! Don’t lose focus. Because He is risen there is hope for all.”

However, Isaac decided to issue an apology to Biden just an hour later when he realized that the Transgender Day of Visibility was also recognized last year on March 31 when it did not fall on Easter Sunday.
“In the name of fairness Biden did recognize the day last year when it didn’t fall on Esther! That’s important, and to me, releases the administration from the allegation on intentionality! Instead of deleting the tweet like it never happened this is my good faith retraction lol. The message is the same. Keep focused on what Resurrection Sunday Is all about. Christ defeating sin and death for all people who would believe.”
Isaac was a former sixth overall pick for the Magic back in 2017.
He has battled injuries for much of his career, but is making a significant impact off the bench for the Magic this year as they are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a 43-31 record.
