The Baltimore Orioles recently imposed an indefinite suspension on play-by-play broadcaster Kevin Brown, which received widespread criticism due to the reason behind it.
The suspension arose after team owner John Angelos took issue with a pregame segment where Brown highlighted the Orioles’ historically poor performance against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Despite presenting factual information, Angelos did not appreciate the remarks.
Consequently, the MLB community rallied together to support Brown and condemn his suspension. After staying silent since his sidelining, Brown finally broke his silence on the matter through a recent Twitter post.
Unfortunately, recent media reports have mischaracterized my relationship with my adopted hometown Orioles. The fact is that I have a wonderful relationship with the organization, and our ownership and front office has fully supported me since 2019 when I first came aboard.

Initially, it appeared that the Orioles had caved under public pressure and were considering bringing Brown back, suggesting a significant change in their stance.

This seems like a strategic move to regain control of the narrative and make the best out of the situation.
