Olivia Dunne couldn’t help but be impressed after she and her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, had the chance to meet Travis Kelce—now widely known as “Mr. Taylor Swift.”
During an appearance on the Best of Both Worlds podcast with LSU basketball star Flau’jae Johnson, Dunne shared her experience meeting the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, describing him as nothing short of a class act. “Travis Kelce is super nice, like, he’s actually the man. He’s a good guy,” Dunne recalled. “He was so chill. He was at one of the photo shoots I did this summer, and he was like, ‘Well, if you or Paul ever need tickets to a Taylor [Swift] concert or need a hookup, just let me know.'”
Naturally, Dunne was floored by the offer and didn’t hesitate to express her excitement. “I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? No way!'” she exclaimed, hinting that she plans to take him up on the generous offer. A chance to see the global superstar in concert? It’s an opportunity too good to pass up.
Despite Dunne and Skenes being one of the most talked-about couples in the world of sports, she humbly acknowledged the unmatched hype surrounding the Kelce-Swift pairing. “They’re the most hyped power couple in sports right now,” Dunne said with a smile, happily stepping aside as Kelce and Swift dominate headlines.
Dunne also opened up about her own relationship with Paul Skenes, who is a rising star in Major League Baseball. The couple’s journey began at LSU, where both were standout athletes—Dunne in gymnastics and Skenes as a national champion on the baseball team. Although details of their relationship have been relatively private, Dunne shared a few insights into their early days.
“I met Paul and would kind of see him around campus, and I was like, ‘Who is this tall, mysterious guy?'” Dunne revealed. “I literally had no clue who he was, but I would just see him around. Then, during baseball season, he wasn’t even playing in the game I was at—he was in the dugout. So I saw him and thought, ‘He’s cute, I like that side profile.'”
Since then, Skenes’ career has skyrocketed. After a stellar final season at LSU, he was selected first overall in the MLB Draft and signed a record-setting $9.2 million bonus with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In his first season, Skenes has already made a significant impact, finishing the year with a 10-3 record, a 2.07 ERA, and a remarkable 0.98 WHIP. Although the Pirates won’t make the playoffs this season, Skenes is the leading candidate for National League Rookie of the Year.
As for Dunne, she continues to thrive both athletically and in the public eye. She’s returned to LSU for her final season of gymnastics eligibility and remains one of the most popular figures in collegiate sports, with a massive social media following and a strong presence in the NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) space.
Earlier this year, she and Kelce appeared together in an energy drink commercial, which further solidified her growing profile in the sports and media landscape.
While Kelce’s Chiefs aim for another Super Bowl run and Skenes wraps up his stellar rookie campaign, Dunne balances her athletic career with her expanding brand.
With Travis Kelce offering Swift concert tickets and Skenes making headlines in MLB, Olivia Dunne’s life is as exciting as ever—on and off the field.
