Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have reportedly made a significant addition to their real estate portfolio by purchasing George Clooney’s former Los Angeles mansion. According to TMZ, the model and the San Francisco 49ers star running back bought the luxurious Fryman Canyon estate from the Academy Award-winning actor for a staggering $14.5 million.
The 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home is known for its privacy, as it is nestled in a secluded area surrounded by dense trees, offering an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city according to the report by TMZ. The estate sits on an expansive 3.1-acre plot, boasting several impressive features including separate guest houses, a pool, and a tennis court, making it a true oasis in the heart of LA.
George Clooney, 63, had owned the property for nearly three decades, originally purchasing it from Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks in 1995 for $2.2 million.
Clooney and his wife, Amal, have since expanded their real estate holdings, owning homes in various prime locations such as Italy, Mexico, England, New York City, and France.

Culpo and McCaffrey reportedly acquired Clooney’s LA home shortly after their lavish summer wedding in Rhode Island. The couple, who tied the knot in a highly publicized ceremony, seem to be setting the stage for a new chapter of their lives. Olivia, star of “The Culpo Sisters” reality show, has even hinted at plans for growing their family. In a candid moment from October 2023, she jokingly shared her desire to “rip out [her] IUD” and “start trying immediately” after the wedding.
Prior to purchasing Clooney’s estate, Culpo, 32, already owned a $3.5 million mansion in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles. She had purchased the property before McCaffrey, then playing for the Carolina Panthers, was traded to the 49ers in 2022.
The couple has used the Encino home as their primary residence during the NFL offseason.
In a 2021 interview with Architectural Digest, Culpo explained that she had chosen the Encino property for its peaceful atmosphere, away from the chaos of Hollywood. “I realized I really wanted something that felt more calming, like a sanctuary almost. A respite from the city,” she said.
It remains unclear whether Culpo plans to sell her Encino home now that she and McCaffrey have upgraded to Clooney’s former estate.
Meanwhile, McCaffrey, 28, has been making his own real estate moves. Earlier this year, he listed his North Carolina estate for $12.5 million following his transition to the 49ers and his relocation to the Bay Area.
The NFL star also sold his Charlotte condo for $3 million last year, signaling the couple’s growing presence on the West Coast.
With a high-profile wedding, expanding real estate investments, and talks of starting a family, Culpo and McCaffrey are embracing their next chapter together in style, solidifying their place among Hollywood’s power couples.
