DK Metcalf became the target of amusing mockery following his altercation and subsequent ejection in the Seahawks’ defeat to the 49ers.
In the late stages of the fourth quarter, the wide receiver was shown the exit after executing a suplex on Niners linebacker Fred Warner, who had intercepted a pass from Drew Lock and was tackled by Metcalf.

This led to a scuffle and a broader altercation involving other players on the field, prompting Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll to intervene and attempt to restore order.
Adding to the drama, a San Francisco long snapper took to social media to playfully mock Metcalf using sign language—a clever jab considering Metcalf’s habit of celebrating touchdowns with similar hand gestures throughout the season.
It appears that suplexing has become a notable trend in the NFL lately.
Last week, Niners LB Dre Greenlaw delivered a similar move to DeVonta Smith, resulting in a confrontation with Eagles’ head of security Dom DiSando before Greenlaw was ultimately ejected.
