Alabama’s inclusion in this season’s College Football Playoff has sparked dissatisfaction among many fans, particularly after Georgia’s loss in the conference title game. Despite calls to exclude the SEC from the Playoff, the committee ultimately chose a one-loss Crimson Tide team for the No. 4 spot.
Nick Saban, accustomed to his team being in such contentious situations, found his daughter Kristen addressing the negative comments on her social media posts following the decision.

In an Instagram Stories post, Kristen Saban Setas conveyed a message to fans expressing discontent:
“This is the one time I’m gonna address this…I understand people are not excited about the committee’s decision. That’s not my expertise, that’s not my place,” Kristen Saban Setas said in an Instagram Stories post.
“Nothing to do with me. I try to keep my page fun, positive as possible for people that like the things that I share, that like Alabama that like football, all of those things.”
She clarified that her intent is to maintain a positive and enjoyable space on her page for those who share an interest in Alabama, football, and related topics. Emphasizing her lack of influence on Alabama’s Playoff selection, she suggested that those upset with the committee’s decision direct their frustration elsewhere.
As the College Football Playoff approaches at the end of the month, the debate surrounding Alabama’s inclusion is likely to persist, especially if Florida State manages to defeat Georgia in the Orange Bowl. This controversy seems to have some staying power.
