San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa, reflecting on the upcoming playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, commended Jordan Love’s adherence to the team’s offensive system.
Bosa contrasted this with former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, suggesting that Rodgers occasionally deviated from coaching instructions.
While acknowledging Rodgers as a Hall of Famer, Bosa emphasized the value of having a quarterback who actually listens to his coaches.

“They have a quarterback who does exactly what he’s coached to do,” Bosa said. “Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer and unbelievable, but he kinda went outside of the realm of coaching. And sometimes it’s good when you have a guy who does what he’s coached to do.”
The comment hints at Rodgers’ tendency to make improvisational plays, and Bosa’s praise for Love’s disciplined approach.
The 49ers aim to make Love uncomfortable by disrupting the Packers’ run game and covering open receivers in the upcoming matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET on FOX.
