The NFL is capitalizing on the Taylor Swift frenzy.
Throughout last week, all eyes were on Swift and her presence at Arrowhead Stadium. This spotlight then shifted to her anticipated attendance at MetLife Stadium to watch the Chiefs face off against the Jets. There was a noticeable contrast in the Kansas City Chiefs’ performance between last week’s game against the Chicago Bears and Sunday night’s matchup against the New York Jets. NBC, eager to capture her enthusiastic cheering, found it challenging as the New York Jets appeared poised to win the game.

The NFL has experienced a takeover by the pop sensation and her dedicated fan base, many of whom are experiencing football for the first time.
The enthusiasm has reached such heights that the NFL’s official X account and Instagram account are going into overdrive with Swift-related content.
On X, Swift graces the cover photo, while on Instagram, they’ve updated their bio to read, “Chiefs are 2-0 as Swifties.”
While the league is expected to remain impartial, it certainly appears that they have developed a vested interest with Taylor Swift’s involvement.
Observant NFL fans on social media quickly took note, and it didn’t take long for many of them to accuse the league of taking the Taylor Swift craze to an excessive extreme.
Despite their usual reliance on a potent passing attack for success, the Kansas City Chiefs saw a departure from the norm as Patrick Mahomes struggled to find his usual form. Instead, they leaned on second-year running back Isiah Pacheco, who racked up a career-high 158 yards from scrimmage in Kansas City’s 23-20 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football. Pacheco rushed for an impressive 115 yards on 20 carries, which included a stunning 48-yard touchdown run.
Patrick Mahomes managed 203 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions on 18-of-30 passing. However, he came through in critical moments with 51 rushing yards, including a pair of crucial runs in the fourth quarter that sealed Kansas City’s win.
