An NFL team has issued an official apology following a controversy involving a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat during a recent game at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

The Cardinals went on to explain that they are taking steps to prevent similar incidents in the future. “Moving forward, we will work to provide clarity to all stadium personnel in these situations,” the statement continued. “We have also reached out to the individual involved to communicate that their experience was not consistent with our policies and practices and to apologize for that.”
